Lavender is our Small Riding Horse. Purchased from the Brewster Family in 2001, she was previously successful as a Small Hunter. We campaigned Lavender originally in Intermediate Show Hunter Classes, which she was very successful in, with Championships at The Dabbs Spring Show and the Lady Bank Festival Show. She was also placed 6th at Royal Lancs Show and was well placed at the Ponies (UK) Summer Champs. She rounded off a very successful year, as an Intermediate, being Reserve Intermediate Champion in the BSPS points awards. When Sherlene was too old to compete in Intermediate classes, the descision was made to campaign her as a Small Riding Horse. At first, it was difficult to grasp, but slowly they got the hang of it and have had some success including 2nd at the Royal Highland Show and 6th at The Great Yorkshire Show.
